UNLIMITED CINEMA

I have just signed up for UGC's new promotion - Unlimited Cinema for only 9.99 per month for a year... I have been chatting to some guys about the idea (These being in America) they think that it was a crap idea?! what is everone elses opinion on this. should cinema goers all have to pay full price to keep the distributers happy or is subscription cinema the way forward?

i work at UGC and i have to try and flog them. When u use the card, we still have to pay the distributor three pound when you watch the film.

I also work at the UGC in Bedford, We had problems with M:I-2, the print arrived late - We have been told it has alot to do with the Megapass, what's your thoughts on the project....

aparently uip or paramount some how heard about unlimted, they wanted to with hold the print cause they thought they would lose money, but like i said they still get the same amount of money what ever the customer pays to get in. but we didn't get the print in time for the first showing so we had to refuned a lot of tickets to some un-happy people.
